About the Siouxland Sharks

The Siouxland Sharks Swim Club, Inc. is located in Sioux City, IA. The Club is sponsored and supported by the team parents and is professionally coached. The swimmers range in age from 5 to 18 years of age. The “SLS” receive personal team coaching five nights per week at East High School.

The parents and coaches help to build the swimmers' personal skills and endurance via  structured workouts. Once team members build their skills, swimmers are provided the opportunity to swim competitively with teams from western Iowa and southeast South Dakota as well as teams throughout Nebraska.

Parents are also afforded the opportunity to improve their personal physical fitness and skills with pool time as well.

Our Coaches

The Siouxland Sharks are a professionally coached team. Coach Heather and Coach Bryan are both accomplished swimmers and have many years of coaching experience with swimmers of all ages. We also have three assistant coaches that have a strong swimming background to help round out the coaching staff. Our coaches stress personal and team goals which include fun and improvement of skills and techniques.
